General admission ticket holders will receive a commemorative Glencairn Crystal nosing glass, program booklet and pen, gift bag, admission to all Master Classes at no additional cost (on a first come basis), a delicious buffet throughout the evening, and, of course, many whiskies to sample.
In addition to what General Admission ticket holders receive, VIP ticket holders receive admission to the event one hour earlier. This allows additional time to enjoy tasting and talking with industry experts behind the booths.
Yes, in order to purchase tickets to any whisky, wine, or cigar event you must first create a Tixr fan account. However, you will only have to go though this process once. You can use the same log in information moving forward. If you have any issues creating your account please email support@tixr.com.
Tickets are emailed to you at the time you make your purchase. If you cannot locate your confirmation email, you may contact Tixr at support@tixr.com for assistance.
Yes, you can, however, it is not required that you do so. If you prefer to transfer, please log into your fan account on Tixr.com, click on “my events” to view your WhiskyFest ticket. Once you see the event, click on “manage transfers” and follow the prompts to transfer your ticket. Please note, you may only transfer your ticket once.
If you lose your nosing glass, we’ll have wine glasses available in the ballroom for you to use. Sorry, we will not replace any lost or broken nosing glasses.
Master Classes are included in the price of admission, and tickets are not used. Seating on a first-come basis. Please consult your event program for Master Class times and locations.
Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable. Maybe you’ve got another buddy who would like to go to WhiskyFest.
The hotel does have parking available, however do not drink and drive. We encourage the use of a ride share service.
Better yet, stay at the hotel where WhiskyFest is being held; we have arranged a room block with a special rate.
No one under the age of 21 is permitted inside the event area. There will be no exceptions, and security will be checking IDs at the entrance.
We do reserve a very limited number of tickets for qualified press. If you would like to attend as a member of the press, send your press credentials to joan@whiskyadvocate.com.
We do not offer designated driver tickets.
Yes, there will be a coat check available.
A hot and cold buffet will be provided throughout the evening, and we encourage you to eat from time to time.
There are two whisky lists in your program booklet, provided at registration. One list is alphabetical by the brand name, and will tell you at which booth you find each whisky. The other lists all of the whiskies by booth number. There’s also a diagram in the event program that you’ll receive at registration.
No, a Glencairn Crystal nosing glass will be provided to you at registration. It’s yours to use for the evening, and to take home with you.
We do not use vouchers for tasting at WhiskyFest.

When we declare an event is “sold out”, we are really sold out of tickets. We have no more to sell.
Backpacks, briefcases, tote bags, or any such items, are not permitted inside of WhiskyFest.
Water is provided throughout the evening. We will also offer coffee, tea and soft drinks.
