Welcome to the WhiskyFest New York updates page! We look forward to seeing you at the 11th annual WhiskyFest on Tuesday, November 11th where you'll have the opportunity to taste more whiskies and meet more whisky experts in attendance than any other whisky event in the country. It's a fantastic event for knowledgeable whisky enthusiasts and a priceless experience for those just getting into whisky.

Exhibitors
There will be more than 70 exhibiting companies/brands in the Broadway Ballroom at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square.that's an incredible line-up of whiskies for you to try. For the list of what will be available for sampling, go to our Whisky List page. The detailed list of what will be poured at each table will be posted later this month. We have a number of new companies exhibiting this year and many of the returning companies will be pouring very special whiskies, especially during the VIP hour from 5:30 to 6:30.

Special Whisky Experts
In addition to the array of whiskies and other products, we expect numerous distillery managers, master blenders and other industry leaders to be in attendance at WhiskyFest. Check back in a few weeks and we'll let you know who will be there the night of the show.

Rare Whiskies for Charity
There will be special charity tables at WhiskyFest where you can try some incredibly rare and expensive whiskies for a small charitable donation 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Aubrey Fund for Pediatric Cancer Research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. We are still gathering special bottles for this table so please check back in a few weeks when we'll have the updated list ready for your viewing.

Charity tickets are $20 per taste and can be ordered before the event at the same time you order your event tickets. Tickets
The cost for the event ticket is $120 all inclusive. This ticket provides access to the Main tasting ballroom and all seminars. You'll receive a commemorative Glencairn Scottish nosing glass as well as an informative event program. A gourmet buffet will be available all evening and there will be plenty of water, coffee and soda to quench your thirst.

Love tasting events but hate the crowds? Then consider ordering a VIP ticket to WhiskyFest. This ticket ($160) gets you into the Ballroom one hour before general admission giving you plenty of access to the distillery managers and master blenders. You'll also receive a canvas WhiskyFest tote bag when you check in at registration.

Kosher Ticket Option
The boxed kosher meal option includes one half of a roast beef sandwich, one half of a turkey sandwich, an apple, a brownie, and chips. The food is provided through the Marriott, and the caterer used is Lou Siegel.

NEW! VIP Ticket holder benefit
In 2008, VIP ticket holders will be granted access to the Broadway Ballroom Balcony during the 15th annual Malt Advocate Whisky Awards which begin at 5 pm. In the past, only the whisky companies have been present during this time.
